English Royalty, Chocolate Chip Scones

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 5 tbs. unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
- 1/2 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
- 3 tbs. orange juice
Carrot Cake

Mix eggs and sugar until light, fluffy, and lemon colored
- Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups of sugar
- 1 1/2 cups of oil
- 2 cups of flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 cup of raisins
- 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts
- 1 (8 oz.) can of pineapple
- 3 cups of chopped carrots
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. of cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup of butter
- 2 cups of powdered sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
Seven Minute Frosting

In a double boiler, blend all ingredients and beat continuously for 7 minutes or until peaks are formed
- 2 egg whites
- 1 1/2 cups of sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. light corn syrup
- 1/3 cup of water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Buttermilk Coffee Cake

Bake at 350 degrees for one hour in greased loaf pan
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 4 cups flour
- 1 orange rind (optional)
- After baking sprinkle on
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 3 tbsp. flour and cinnamon

Veggie Pizza

Spread dough on bottom of pan
- 1 pkg. crescent rolls
- 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 pkg. ranch dressing mix
Hot Dog-Coney Sauce

Brown ground beef slowly and break up into pieces
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/4 cup of chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove-minced
- 1 8 oz. can (1 xup) seasoned tom. sauce
- 1/2 to 3/4 tso, chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. monosodium glutamate
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Bar-b-que Sauce

In a small mixing bowl, place the ketchup, vinegar, garlic and barbeque seasoning
- 1/2 cup, ketchup
- 1 tsp., distilled vinegar
- 1 garlic clove, pressed, or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 Tbs., barbeque seasoning
Buttercream Frosting

In a mixing bowl, cream the butter
- 1 cup of butter, softened
- 8 cups of confectioners sugar
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 to 3/4 cups of milk
Smokey Bacon-biscuit Dressing

Position rack in the lower third of oven, preheat to 350 degrees
- 12 , 4" cream biscuits, cut into 1 1/2" cubes
- 1 lb. sliced, smokey bacon, cut into 1" pieces
- 2 yellow onions, diced
- 5 celery stalks, diced
- 8 oz. white, button mushrooms, brushed clean and sliced
- 1/4 cup chopped, fresh, flat-leaf parsley
- 2 Tbs. chopped fresh sage
- 2 Tbs. chopped fresh thyme
- Salt and freshly ground, black pepper, to taste
- 5 cups chicken stock
Pecan Pie Brownies

Brownies: 21 1/2 oz. deluxe fudge brownie mix 1/2 cup very hot water 1/4 cup oil 1 egg Mix well
- Filling:
- Add and mix until smooth 1/4 cup margarine/butter melted
- 2 tbls. flour
- Add and mix well. Cook for 5 min.
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- Remove from heat and add:
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups chopped pecans
