Old Fashioned Apple Pie

Prepare or purchase a double pie crust and set one crust into a 9" pie pan
- 9 " Double Pie Crust
- 1 cup of granular Splenda
- 7 cups baking apples, thin sliced, cored, peeled. about
- 7 medium apples.
- 3 tbs. Cornstarch
- 3/4 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. Ground Nutmeg
- 1/8 tsp. salt
Strawberry Cheese Cake

Put everything in a bowl and beat until creamy
- Strawberry glaze:
- 1 lb. cream cheese...room temperature
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 box Junket Danish Dessert (Strawberry or Raspberry)
- 1 lb. frozen strawberrier (whole and Drained)
- 1 1/2 cups of strawberry juice. If you can't get enough juice from defrosted berries and enough water over berries to make proper measurement.
Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Chicken Dip

Mix ingredients in a pie plate
- 1 pkg., 8 oz., cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbled
- 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing
- 1/2 cup Frank's Redhot Buffalo Wings Sauce or Frank's
- Redhot Cayenne Pepper Sauce
- 2 cups cooked chicken
Apple-Cranberry Strudel

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease 15 X 10 X 1" baking pan
- 2 apples, chopped (about 2 cups)
- 1/2 cup of fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 cup of finely chopped walnuts
- 1 tsp. grated lemon peel
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 8 (17 X 12 in.) sheets frozen phyllo (filo) pastry, thawed
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup of butter, melted
- 4 tbs. plain bread crumbs
Gorgonzola and Toasted Walnut Spread

Remmove 1 Tbs. of the Gargonzola for garnish
- 1 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
- 1 pkg. cream cheese, softened (8 oz.)
- 3 Tbs. half and half
- 1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
- 1 Tbs. chopped, fresh parsley
- Frebch bread slces
- Apple and Pear slices
Ruby Red Current Glaze (Ham)

Melt jelly over hear, stirring until smooth
- 1/2 Cup Currant Jelly
- 1 Tbs. Vinegar
- 1/2 Tsp. Dry Mustard
- 1/4 Tsp. Cinnamon
- Dash of Cloves
Bisquick

Blend all ingredients and store
- 6 cups of flour
- 3 tbs. Baking powder
- 1 tbs. salt
- 1 cup of Crisco
Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Place the whole peppers in an ovenproof skillet and set them to cook in a preheated 450 degree oven
- 3 fresh, red belle peppers (or canned peppers that
- have been rinsed well)
- 3 cups of chickpeas, canned or cooked and rinsed
- 1 tbs. fresh, minced garlic
- 1 cup of tahini
- 1/2 cup of fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbs. paprika
- 1 tbs. chili powder
- 2 tsp. ground cumin
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
Pumpkin Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce

For bread pudding Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Bread Pudding
- 2 cups half and half
- 1 15 oz. can pumpkin
- 1 cup (packed) plus 2 tbs. dark brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 10 cups 1/2 in. cubes egg bread (about 10 ozs.)
- 1/2 cup golden raisins
- Caramel Sauce
- 1 1/4 cups (packed) dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
- Powdered Sugar
Banana Peanut Bread

Bake in greased and floured bundt pan or 2-3 loaf pans
- Cream:
- 1 1/4 cups of brown sugar
- 3/4 cup of margarine
- Add:
- 2 eggs
- 2 mashed bananas
- 1/2 cup of peanut butter
- Sift together:
- 1 1/2 cups of unbleached flour
- 1 cup of whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg
- Optional:
- 1/2 cup of chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup of raisings
