Jalapeno Cornbread

1. Combine dry igredients
- 2 cups cornmeal
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup salad oil or bacon drippings
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1 (17oz) can cream-style corn
- 1/2 pound Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 or 3 jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves,pressed
Brussels Spouts with Onions and Bacon

- 1/2 pound lean bacon, finely diced
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 4 tablespoons butter

Strawberry Graham Dessert Recipe

In a small bowl, combine cracker crumbs and butter; set aside 1 tablespoon for topping
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs (about 16 squares)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 package (3 ounces) strawberry gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen sweetened sliced strawberries, thawed
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Dash salt
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
- Fresh strawberries and mint, optional

- 1-1/2 pounds fresh asparagus spears, halved
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- 2 tablespoons canola oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese

- 2 packages (10oz) spinich
- 3 cups crutons
- 1 tsp pepper
- 6 eggs, well beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp thyme
- 3/4 cup melted butter

1. Blend together cream cheese, onion, mayonaise, lemon juice, garlic salt and Worcestershire sauce in small bowl
- 1 (8oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 small onion, minced
- 1/4 cup mayonaise
- 1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 6 oz crabmeat (fresh or frozen), shredded and drained

- For the streusel topping:
- 2 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into bits, plus more butter for greasing the pan.
- 1/4 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 cup(4 ounces) chopped walnuts
- For the batter:
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole-wheat flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups fresh or frozen buleberries or a combination of blackberries, blueberies, and raspberries
