In a large bowl, cream 1 cup butter and 1 cup brown sugar until light and fluffy
- 1 1/4 cups butter, softened, divided
- 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar, divided
- 3 1/2 cups old-fashioned oats, divided
- 1 cup flour
- 1 can (14 oz) whole-berry cranberry sauce
- 1/3 cup finely chopped pecans
Sweet Potatoes - Honey Whipped Sweet Potatoes (served 11-09 in AZ)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 large onion, chopped (2 cups)
- 3 Tbsp. honey
- 1 can (40 oz.) sweet potatoes in light syrup, drained
- 1 can (16 oz. sweet potatoes in light syrup, drained
- 1/2 tea. salt
- 1/4 tea. pepper
- 1/4 tea. Chinese five-spice powder
Upside Down Cake - Cherry Chocolate (cast iron skillet)

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 lb. cherries, pitted
- 2 tea. fresh lemon juice
- 1 3/4 cup flour
- 1 tea. baking powder
- 1/2 tea. baking soda
- 1/2 tea. salt
- 1 stick butter, at room temperature
- 2 eggs
- 1 tea. vanilla
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2/3 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Squash - Honey-Jalapeno Roasted Acorn Squash

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 1 acorn squash
- 1 jalapeno
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 Tbsp. lime
- 1/2 tea. salt
- 1/2 cup uncooked brown rice
- cilantro, for garnish
Broccoli Cheese Soup

- 1 1/2 cups chopped broccoli
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 onion, minced
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 (16 oz) carton half-and-half
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/8 tea. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup minced carrot
- 1 (16 oz) pkg. mild Mexican Velveeta cheese, cubed
Onion Buttered Bread

Spread onion butter between slices of bread; wrap in foil and heat in 375 degree oven 15-20 minutes
- 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup mix
- 1/2 lb. butter, softened
- French or Italian bread, sliced
Chorizo Hash Brown Patties

Shred potatoes, squeeze in paper towels to dry, set aside
- 2 russet potatoes, shredded and squeezed dry
- 1/2 lb. chorizo
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup flour
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup vegetable oil for frying
aDressing: Honey Lime Dressing (Chili's)

- 1/4 Cup Grey Poupon Dijon mustard
- 1/4 Cup honey
- 1 −1/2 Teaspoon sugar
- 1 Teaspoon sesame oil

- 1 −1/2 Teaspoon lime juice

- 2 serrano peppers, stems,seeds and membranes removed, finely chopped
- 4 cups sugar
