- 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar, for dusting

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder

- 2 cups 2% milk
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup canola oil
- 1 can (15-1/4 ounces) peach halves, drained and finely chopped

- 1/3 cup butter, cubed
- 1 egg
- 2 to 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
