- Pinch of salt
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- For Toffee:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 8 oz mascarpone cheese
- For Chocolate Sauce:
- 5 oz semisweet chocolate
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon brandy, if desired
