Salt Dough

Heat and stir in pan until mixture comes off the side of the pan and forms a ball
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 cup salt
- 2 t. cream of tartar
- 1 t. oil
- 1 cup warm water
Strawberry Spinach Salad

- Dressing:
- 1 Lemon
- 2 T. white wine vinegar
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. poppy seeds.
- Salad:
- 1/4 c. sliced almonds
- 8 oz. (1 1/2 c.) strawberries, hulled and quartered
- 1/2 med. cucumber, sliced & cut in half
- 1/4 sm. red onion, sliced thin as wedges (1/4 c.)
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. baby spinach
Overnight French Toast

- 1/2 c. butter, melted
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 12 sliced bread
- 5 eggs
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 c. milk
English Tea Cakes

- 1 cup oleo, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 t vanilla
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/4 t salt
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans
- Extra powdered sugar for rolling balls
OIive-Egg Salad Tea Sandwiches

Chop the eggs until fine (the fine disc of a meat grinder works fine, if available)
- 12 to 14 hard-boiled eggs
- (depending on size)
- 2/3 to 1 c. mayonnaise
- Salt & freshly-ground pepper, to taste
- 1 (6 oz.) jar green salad olives
- 24 slices white or whole wheat bread

- 8 med. potatoes
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 c. melted butter
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 2 c. dairy sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 3 green onions including chopped
- 2 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese
Hot Chix Salad Casserole

- 2 c diced chix
- 2 c chopped celery
- 3 T minced onion
- 3 T lemon juice
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t pepper
- 1/2 c pecans or almonds
- 3/4 c mayonnaise
- 1 small can sliced mushrooms
- 1 can cream of chicken soup - undiluted
- crushed potato chips on top
