THOMAS ENGLISH MUFFINS

Sift the flour and salt into a bowl and leave in a warm place
- 1 pound all-purpose or bread flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1 cup warm milk

SHRIMP STIR-FRY WITH CHINESE CABBAGE, CARROTS AND BROCCOLI

Heat the peanut oil in a skillet or wok large enough to accommodate all the ingredients over medium-high heat
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 cup thinly sliced Chinese cabbage (bok choy)
- 1 cup thinly sliced carrots
- 1 cup broccoli florets, cut into small pieces
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

CHICKEN PAPRIKASH

Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper
- 1 # boneless skinless chicken breasts, trimmed, cut into 2” pieces
- 1/4 tsp. kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 tbsp. canola oil
- 2 large green peppers, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, halved & thinly sliced
- 2 tsp. hot or sweet paprika
- 1/2 c. dry white wine
- 1 1/2 cups canned crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. sour cream
- 2 tbsp. chopped fresh parsley
BROCCOLI CREAM SOUP

In medium saucepan, stir broccoli, lemon juice, and garlic powder into cream soup
- Cream soup:
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- 1/4 c. finely chopped celery
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1-1/2 c. chicken broth
- 1-1/2 c. milk
- Broccoli soup:
- 2 c. frozen broccoli cut, cooked, drained, or 2 c. fresh broccoli cuts, cooked and drained
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 recipe cream soup (above)
DESSERT BOREK

In a food processor, pulse the walnuts and pistachios until coarsely chopped
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled, plus more for greasing the pan
- 1 cup walnut pieces, toasted
- 3/4 cup pistachios
- 1 cup dried apricots
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 phyllo pastry sheets
- 5 teaspoons sugar
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Brush a sheet pan with melted butter.

- 1/2cup1/2 cup rolled (old-fashioned) oats
- 1 1/2tablespoons1 1/2 tablespoons gluten
- 1tablespoon1 tablespoon wheat germ
- 1 1/2teaspoons1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 2tablespoons2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 1tablespoon1 tablespoon dried orange peel
- 1/3cup1/3 cup sunflower seeds, raw unsalted
- 2teaspoons2 teaspoons active dry yeast
AMARETTO COFFEE CREAMER

Combine all ingredients in a container with a tight fitting lid
- 3/4 cup nondairy powdered creamer
- 3/4 cup sifted confectioner's sugar
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
