- 1 12-oz. can evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup coffee liqueur, such as Kahlua, or strong coffee
- 2 cups coarsely chopped toasted hazelnuts (optional)
PECAN CRANBERRY TART

Heat oven to 350 degrees F

- 2 whole eggs
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1-1/2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1 cup light-colored corn syrup
- 1 vanilla bean, halved lengthwise or 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups pecans halves, toasted
- 1 cup cranberries

- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup apple butter, such as Smucker's
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/3 cup apple cider
- 1/3 cup low-fat plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup canola oil
CHOCOLATE SYRUP

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup cold water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- Finely grated zest of 1 orange (about 2 tablespoons)

- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 2 to 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
