- 2/3 c. light corn syrup

BEEF KEBABS WITH GINGER-SOY SAUCE

For the ginger-soy sauce, combine the soy sauce, vinegar, honey, ginger and black pepper in a small saucepan
- 2/3 cup lite soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon freshly grated ginger
- 1 1/2 pounds beef tenderloin tips , cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
- 12 bamboo (soaked in water) or metal skewers
- 2 large red bell peppers, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 Vidalia onion, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 24 small button mushrooms
MADEIRA SAUCE

- To 1 cupful of brown sauce add 1 tablespoonful each of minced ham and celery; season with 1/4 . teaspoonful each of kitchen bouquet and paprika. Simmer for half an hour, then add 1/4 cupful madeira wine
APPLE STRUDEL

Thaw the pastry sheet at room temperature for 40 minutes or until it's easy to handle
- 1/2 of a 17.3-ounce package Pepperidge Farm® Puff Pastry Sheets (1 sheet)
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp. water
- 2 tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp. raisins
- Confectioners sugar (optional)
APPLE AND PORK STIR-FRY WITH GINGER

In small bowl, combine jam, soy sauce, water and cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. peach jam, preferably fruit sweetened
- 2 Tbsp. reduced sodium soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
- 1 1/2 tsp. dark toasted sesame oil
- 1 Tbsp. finely minced fresh ginger root
- 1/2 pound (8 ounces) pork tenderloin, cut into thin strips
- 1 1/2 tsp. canola oil
- 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1 cup chopped green bell pepper
- or add carrots, pea pods, bean sprouts, etc
- 1 cup chopped yellow bell pepper
- 1 can (8 ounces) sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 2 firm apples, such as Fuji or Gala, cut into one-inch pieces
- 1/2 cup scallions, thinly sliced
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
CHICKEN BROCCOLI DIVAN

Place broccoli in 2-qt.shallow baking dish
- 4 cups fresh or frozen broccoli
- 4 boneless chicken breast halves
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp. dry bread crumbs
- 1 tbsp. melted butter
FRENCH SILK PIE

Preheat oven to 325°F. Coat a 9-inch pie pan with cooking spray
- For the crust:
- 30 chocolate wafers
- 2 tablespoons chopped pitted dates
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- For the filling:
- 1 tablespoon brewed coffee
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1-1/2 teaspoons unflavored gelatin
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup 1% milk
- 8 tablespoons packed light brown sugar, divided
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, preferably Dutch-process
- 2 ounces bittersweet (not unsweetened) chocolate, chopped
- 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons dried egg whites, reconstituted according to package directions (equivalent to 3 egg whites)
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- Chocolate shavings, optional
GUINESS GRILLING MARINADE

- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 14.9 ounces Guinness Draught
- 1 tablespoon fresh minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey or pure maple syrup
- cracked pepper to taste
