Ingredients

  • 1 lb stew
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 3 c. hot water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp bouquet sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1/2 c. cold water
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • potatoes
  • onions
  • carrots
  • celery

Preparation

Step 1

Cook and stir meat in oil, till brown. Add 3 c. water, 1/2 tsp salt and pepper. Cook about 3 hours.
Add potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, bouquet sauce, 1 1/2 tsp salt and bouillon cube. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes. Shake 1/2 c. water and flour, add to stew, heat to boiling, reduce heat.
