Egg-Sausage Bake

Can be prepared the night before. I use low-fat turkey breakfast sausage to keep it lean.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. bulk sausage browned & drained
- 6 slices whole wheat bread, cubed
- 6 eggs
- 2 Cups shredded low-fat cheddar or Colby jack cheese
- 2 Cups milk
- 1 Tablespoon dry mustard
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper

Step 1
Spread bread cubes into a greased 9x13 pan. Spread sausage over bread. In a large mixing bowl, add eggs, milk, dry mustard & pepper. Beat well and pour over bread and sausage. Cover with cheese. Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight or 1 hours for same day. Bake at 350 - 15 minutes covered, 20 - 25 minutes uncovered.
