Ingredients

  • 1 Cup packed Golden Brown Sugar, divided
  • 1/2 Cup Butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 Cup - plus 2 TBS All-Purpose Flour, divided
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Cup Coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1 Cup Flaked or shredded Coconut
  • 1 Cup Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips

Step 1

Heat oven to 400 Degrees

With electric mixer beat 1/2 cup brown sugar & butter. Mix in 1 cup flour (mixture will be crumbly). Press dough in bottom of 8" square glass baking dish. Bake 10 - 12 minutes until crust looks dry. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees. Meanwhile prepare topping and spread over crust. Bake 25 - 30 minutes until topping is set and toothpick comes out clean. Cool on rack
