Mushroom Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 pound whole mushrooms (cut in half)
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 5 tablespoons of butter
- 2 tablespoons of self-rising flour
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 2 chicken bouillon cubes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 16 ounce bag of shredded mixed cheeses (Colby, Monterrey Jack, cheddar)
- 1-5 to 6 ounce bag of croutons (plain)

Preparation
Step 1
Saute halved mushrooms and onion in 2 tablespoons of butter. Dissolve 2 chicken bouillon cubes in 1/2 cup of hot water. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter and blend in the bullion and whisk in the flour until smooth. Add ranch dressing, salt and pepper. Mix all ingredients (except for croutons and cheese)gently stirring in mushrooms. Put in a 9 x 9 quart casserole dish. Spread the cheese across the top. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. After the casserole has been in the oven for about 20 minutes, take out and scatter the croutons over the top of the cheese. Pop it back in oven for remaining 10 minutes.
