SHALLOT BUNS

Ingredients
- 4 round individual buns
- 125 g (4oz) butter
- 4 shallots
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon french mustard
- salt, pepper
Details
Preparation
Step 1
Make four equal cuts in each bun,
cutting just to bottom crust, but not
right through. Beat butter in bowl until
light and creamy. Add finely-chopped
shallots, parsley and mustard, mix
well. Season with salt and pepper.
Spread butter mixture on both sides of
bun slices. Wrap each bread bun in
aluminium foil. Put in moderate oven
for 10 minutes.
