Apple Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 c. sifted flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 c. soup cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 large apples
- Topping
- 1/3 c packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 c. chopped pecans

Preparation
Step 1
Cream together butter, sugars and eggs. Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, sour cream and vanilla. Mix well.
Pour 1/2 batter into pan. Layer with half of the apples, then half of the topping. Pour in remaining batter, layer with remaining apples. (Keep 3 slices for decoration) then add the rest of the topping. Arrange the 3 remaining apple slices in a pinwheel on top.
Bake 1 hr
Let cool and then refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving
