Sausage and Grits Casserole

  • 1 pound roll sausage
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper chopped
  • 1 cup celery chopped
  • 1 cup grits, uncooked
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • Grated cheese



Step 1

Brown Sausage in skillet.
Add onions and pepper and celery
Cook until vegetables are soft…..drain
Cook grits in 4 cups of water then add to sausage/vegetable mixture.

Place in 9 X 13 in. buttered casserole dish.
Spread soup over top and add grated cheese as desired.

Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes (or until bubbly)
