Ingredients

  • topping:
  • 2 c flour
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1 c butter, softened
  • 3 8oz packages cream cheese
  • 3/4 c sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 granny smith, peeled, cored and diced
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 1 c flour
  • 1/2 c quick oats
  • 1/2 c butter, softened

Preparation

Step 1

1) in medium bowl cut butter into flour til crumbly. press into 9"x13" foil lined pan and bake 15 min til light brown

2) beat cream cheese with sugar at md speed il smooth. add eggs 1 at a time while beating. add vanilla, mix and pour over crust

3) stir apples with cinnamon and nutmeg..i also add 2t sugar and sprinkle over cheese mix

4) mix together the topping ingredients and sprinkle over apples. bake 40-45 minutes

5) if you like: drizzle caramel topping over cake
