Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. double-acting baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Granny Smith apples (about 1 large)
  • 1/2 cup chopped Fisher® Chef’s Naturals Walnuts
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon chips, optional

Preparation

Step 1

1.Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray.
2.Whisk oil, sugar, honey, eggs and vanilla together in a large bowl until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients.
3.Spoon batter into prepared loaf pan bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Let bread sit for 10 minutes then turn out onto a rack, and let cool completely.
