Spider Web Munch

Crispy peanut butter and chocolate dessert boasts a plastic spider to make it scary! Perfect for your Halloween entertaining.

- 1 (12-ounce) package chocolate chips
- 1 cup peanut butter, divided
- 1/3 cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups rice cereal
- Plastic spider

Preparation
Step 1
Heat chocolate chips and 3/4 cup peanut butter in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth; remove from heat.
Add powdered sugar; stir vigorously until smooth.
Place cereal in a large bowl. Add 1 cup melted chocolate mixture. Stir until all cereal is coated.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Using a small metal spatula, shape into a 10 inch circle with a slightly raised 1 inch wide boarder.
Pour the remaining melted chocolate mixture in the center of the circle; spread to border.
For spider-web design, place the remaining peanut butter in a plastic bag. Cut a tiny corner from bag; squeeze to pipe concentric circles on top of chocolate.
Using a wooden pick, pull tip through peanut butter from center to border.
Chill for 30 minutes until firm.
Top with plastic spider. Cut into wedges to serve.
