Ingredients
- 1 pkg Pillsbury ie crusts
- Filling
- 1 cup of sugar
- 2 tbls all purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/89 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 6 cups (6medium) thinly sliced peeled apples

Step 1
Prepare pie crust as directed on package for two crust pie using 9 inch pie plate
2. Heat oven to 425 F. In large bowl, combine all filling ingredients except lemon juice and apples; mix well. Add lemon juice and apples; toss gently to mix. Spoon into crust lined pan. Top with second crust; seal edges and flute. Cut slits or shapes in several places in top crust.
3. Bake at 425 F for 40 to 45 minutes or until crust is golden and apples are tender.
