Ingredients
- 4 boneless pork loin chops, cut 3/4 inch thick (about 1 lb total)
- 1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper
- 2 tsp cooking oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tbsp dry sherry or chicken broth
- 1 3-oz pkg cream cheese with chives, cut up

Preparation
Step 1
Sprinkle both sides of pork chops with pepper, rubbing it lightly into pork. In a 10-inch skillet, cook pork in hot oil for 8 to 10 minutes or until slightly pink near center and juices run clear, turning once. Remove meat from skillet; cover and keep warm.
For sauce, carefully add water to the hot skillet. Add sherry or broth; heat until bubbly. Add cream cheese, Using a wire whisk or spoon, heat and stir over medium heat until cream cheese melts. To serve, spoon sauce over pork; Sprinkle with snipped chives, if desired.
