Quick and Easy Macaroni and Cheese

  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 1/4 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 6 ounces light processed cheese, cubed
  • 2 1/4 cups 1% low fat milk
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

Step 1

Place butter in 2 quart OvenWorks Round container and microwave for 30-40 seconds. Stir in macaroni, dry mustard, and hot pepper sauce into melted butter. Spread macaroni into an even layer. Slowly pour milk over macaroni and top with cheese. Microwave uncovered, for 5-10 minutes, stirring once. Uncover, then bake in 350 degree conventional oven for 15-20 minutes or until macaroni is tender and tops begin to brown.
