Ingredients
- 4-6 lb roasting chicken
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1-2 tbsp butter
- Juice of one lemon
- 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/3 tsp paprika

Preparation
Step 1
Place onion in cavity of the chicken and rub the skin with butter. Place chicken in crock-pot. Squeeze lemon juice over chicken and sprinkle remaining seasonings. Cover and cook on LOW 8-10 hours or on HIGH 4-5 hours.
