Chicken Breast with Mushrooms & Peas

Ingredients
- 1 small white onion
- 12 oz fresh sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp minced green onion
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1/4 tsp ground tarragon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen peas

Preparation
Step 1
Slice onion 1/4 inch thick. Slice mushrooms paper-thin. Mince onion including green stems. Place the chicken breast on bottom of slow cooker, then layer onions, green onions and mushrooms on top of chicken breasts. Cook on low for 4 hours.
After 4 hours, blend flour, tarragon, salt, pepper and milk by stirring slowly. Pour mixture over chicken. Add peas.
Cook on low 2-4 hours, until thick, stirring occasionally.
