By Jan_C
When it comes to crab you have 3 options: you can go to the expensive seafood place for overpriced and bland crab; you can ruin it yourself at home; or you can follow this recipe and have crab so good you will never eat it any other way.

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat. When hot, lightly oil grate.
Whisk together the olive oil, butter, and garlic; generously brush onto crab.
Cook crab on preheated grill, turning once, until the shell begins to brown, about 6 minutes.
Start them off over low or indirect heat until the joints begin to move freely, about 5 to 8 minutes depending on size. Then move to medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes. Try to keep the small tips of the legs as far off the heat as possible, while trying to keep the claw and thicker parts of the legs on the heat.
