Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb. bulk Italian sausage
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 can(15 1/2 oz) butter beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can(15 oz) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can(14 1/2 oz) dried tomatoes
  • 1 can(14 1/2 oz) beef broth
  • 1 tbs fresh basil or 1 tsp dried basil
  • 2 tbs shredded parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a large saucepan, cook sausage, onion, and garlic until the sausage is browned. Then drained grease.

2. Add beans, tomatoes, broth, and basil. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.

3. Sprinkle each serving with Parmesan cheese.
