Preparation
Step 1
Cover pan in olive oil and 1/2 bar of butter
Add and chop together
5 gloves of garlic
1/2 onion
Italian parsley
cook until just before browning
Add 2 cans of plum tomatoes (2lbs) in water
Puree or finely chopped tomatoes
Dash of black pepper, oregano, red pepper
tbsp of salt
Cook 1 1/2 to 2 hrs
Separate Pan
Simmer 1/2 bar butter
1 tbsp olive oil
6 oz pale dry sherry (optional)
toss in 1 1/2 lbs of shrimp
Cook till pink Set aside
Boil 2lbs of linguine in 8 qts of water w/ 2tbs of salt
As linguine cooks add shrimp to sauce and let simmer few minutes Place shrimp/ sauce on top of linguine
