Ingredients

  • Cream together:
  • Combine: 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Set aside.
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 5 mashed over-ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup nuts or raisins ( optional )

Step 1


Stir banana mixture into flour mixture just until moistened. Pour into greased (9-5) loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 60-65 minutes (until a tooth pick inserted into center comes out clean). Cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn out onto wire rack.
