Beef Stir Fry

  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 1 bunch of green onion, chopped
  • 1 T. fresh ginger
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 pound ground sirloin or lean ground beef
  • 1 12 oz package broccoli slaw
  • 1 cup chopped kale
  • 1 t. red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 T. Chinese Five Spice
  • 2-3 T. low sodium soy sauce (optional)


Servings 4


Step 1

In a large pan, cook green onion, ginger, and garlic in the olive oil for about 1 minute. Add ground beef, salt, pepper, red pepper flake (optional), and Five Spice and cook until cooked through, stirring often. Drain fat and put back in pan. Add broccoli slaw and stir. Cover and cook for about 5 minutes. Add kale, stir and cover cooking for about 1 more minute. Add soy sauce (optional) and stir.
