Apple Sauce Cake

Ingredients

• 2 1/2c. flour
• 1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. salt
• 1/2 tsp. cloves
• 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp. allspice
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• 1 c. sugar
• 1/2c. shortening
• 1 1/4 c. applesauce
• 1 small jar maraschino cherries, drained and chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together.Except half the nuts and cherries.

Grease bundt pan using non stick cooking spray

Do not use flour

Place half of the cherries and nuts into grooves of the bundt pan.

Pour dough into pan, covering nuts and cherries.

Bake at 350 degrees for one hour
