  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • Salt
  • 20 tiny oysters, smoked
  • 1 lemon

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Butter a shallow baking dish. Wipe the mushroom caps clean. Melt the butter in a small pan. Dip the mushroom caps in the melted butter and coat thoroughly. Place the mushrooms, saucer side up, in the baking dish, and sprinkle lightly with salt. Place an oyster in each one. Squeeze a few drops of lemon juice over each oyster and drizzle the remaining butter over each. Put in the oven for 8-10 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
