Bernice's Shrimp Scampi


Adam's favorite birthday meal growing up.

  • 2 lbs med-lg raw shrimp
  • 1 bottle Italian dressing
  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 2 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/3 bottle white wine
  • 3 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • Garlic salt, salt, and pepper to taste
  • 1 sm. jar of capers - drained


Servings 6


Step 1

Clean shrimp. Marinade in Italian dressing overnight.
Broil shrimp on broil pan - 2 minutes each side - DO NOT OVERCOOK. Set aside with a little bit of Italian dressing.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Make sauce of melted butter, lemon juice, wine, parmesan and seasonings.
Toss sauce & shrimp together. Add capers.
Place in a glass casserole dish, sprinkle with a little more parmesan cheese.
Bake for 15 minutes or until heated through.
Serve over angel hair pasta.
