Strawberry Romaine Salad

I got this recipe from my Scottish sister in law who had to learn to cook all over again when she moved to the states! This is one of the delicious recipes she discovered.
This is best served fresh, strawberries get soggy in leftover salad.

Ingredients
- Dressing:
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- Salad:
- 2 bunches romaine lettuce
- 1 qt. strawberries
- 1/2 cu chopped walnuts
- 2 cups shredded mozarella

Preparation
Step 1
Mix dressing ingredients and refrigerate.
To assemble salad chop romaine and walnuts and slice strawberries. Toss together with cheese, pour over dressing and toss again. Serve immediately.
