Mom's Old Fashioned Rice Pudding

There's nothing quite like Mom's cooking, and this recipe brings me right back to her kitchen as a child! The delicious cinnamon raisin flavor mixed with creamy rice and pudding is one of my favorite desserts!

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup minute rice
- 2 3/4 cup milk
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Cinnamon, to taste
- 1/2 cup raisins

Cooking time 75mins

Step 1
Combine minute rice, milk and raisins, sugar, butter, salt, vanilla and nutmeg in a buttered 1-quart baking dish.
Bake in 350°F oven for 1 hour, stirring after 15 minutes and again when pudding is done.
Sprinkle with cinnamon. Serve warm or chilled.
Pudding thickens as it stands.
