    sweet Italian sausage links

  • 2

    sweet green peppers, sliced

  • 2

    sweet red peppers, sliced

  • 2

    sweet yellow peppers, sliced

  • 2

    med. onions, sliced

  • 1

    (14oz.) can tomato sauce


Slice sausage into 1/2-to 1-inch coins. Coat frypan with oil and, over medium heat, brown sausage. Brown a small batch at a time. Using slotted spoon, drain oil and place in lasagna pan. (I use the throw-away ones.) Once all the sausage is browned, and in the pan, add the peppers and onions. Mix well together. Add tomato sauce and mix until sausage and peppers are coated well with sauce. Cover pan with foil: bake in 375° oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until sausage is no longer pink and peppers and onions are soft. There should be ample amount of sauce in pan. Serve with Italian bread and a salad. Enjoy!
