Sweet and Sour Pork Chops

Ingredients

  • 4 thick pork chops
  • 1 chicken bouillion cube
  • 1 8 1/2 oz can pineapple pieces,drained
  • 1/2 c water
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp white vinegar
  • 1 green pepper cut into 1" slices
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp water

Preparation

Step 1

Brown chops in frying pan
Dissolve bouillion cube in water and juice from the pineapple
Add to chops along with brown sugar and vinegar
Simmer chops until almost done then add green pepper and pineapple slices,heating them through and finishing the chops
Mix cornstarch and water
Add to chop mixture to thicken juices-just add a little at a time as it thickens quickly
Goes well with rice
I sometimes use boneless chops cut into cubes. It takes half the time to cook
