Ingredients

  • 4-6 pieces chicken
  • 1 large onion
  • 1 T. dried parsley
  • 1/2 t. garlic powder
  • 1 T. Kitchen Bouquet
  • 1/2 pound smoked sausage
  • 3/4 c. long grained rice
  • salt & pepper

Step 1

Brown chicken & sausage quickly in oil & remove. Saute onion until translucent, the add browned meats & the rest of the ingredients except rice with 2 cups water, salt & pepper. When liquid comes to a boil, add rice & stir. Cover pot and lower heat to a simmer for 30 minutes.
