Sausage Gravy
By MichelleF
Southern Living, modified ~ I found that ½ tsp pepper makes the gravy rather peppery. Original recipe uses ½ lb sausage, but after comparing other recipes, 1 lb is fine.

Preparation
Step 1
Bake biscuits according to package directions. Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring until it crumbles & is no longer pink. Stir in flour & cook 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk, & cook, whisking constantly, 5 to 7 minutes or until thickened. Add more milk a little at a time if it becomes too thick. Season with salt & pepper. Serve gravy over biscuits.
