Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, cut into strips
  • 4 tbs flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbs butter
  • 4 tbs sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 1/2 cup cold beef stock
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 1 tbs tomato paste
  • 1 cup sour cream

Preparation

Step 1

1. Dredge beef strips in flour and salt

2. Cook meat in 2tbs butter till brown on both sides

3. Add mushrooms, onions and garlic

4. Remove meat from pan and add 2 tbs butter and blend in 3 tbs flour. Add 1 tbs tomato paste to pan drippings, stir in beef stock. Cook and stir on med heat till thick and bubbly.

5. Return browned meat to pan and stir in 1 cup sour cream. Cook till heated thoroughly.

6. Serve over hot noodles

Makes 4-5 servings
