Ingredients
- 1 round sourdough loaf unsliced
- 1 pkg. smoked havarti cheese, cut vertically into 1/4 inch slices
- 1/2 cup butter melted
- 4 gloves garlic, peeled and minced
- 1/2 cup green onion, finely sliced
- 1 tbsp. poppy seeds

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350F.
Cut the bread lengthwise and widthwise into squares without cutting through the bottom crust. Place on a foil lined baking sheet. Insert the smoked havarti randomly between cuts.
Combine melted butter, garlic, green onions,and poppy seeds. Pour over bread. Wrap foil around the bread to cover.
Bake for 15 minutes. Unwrap the bread and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and begins to brown slightly.
