Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 4 large apples cored and chopped
  • 2 tea lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tea Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 table Cornstarch
  • 1 tea cinnamon
  • Topping:
  • !.3 cup dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup ground almonds or meal
  • 1/2 tea cinnamon
  • 1/8 tea salt
  • 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350.
In a large bowl combine all filling ingredients and make sure apples are evenly covered. Spoon into pan. Set aside.
For topping whisk brown sugar, oats, and almonds together. Make sure no lumps. Then whisk in rest of filling ingredients crumble over apples..
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. If top gets too brown cover with foil Cool completely.
