Ingredients

  • 2 packs of cinnamon roll dough with icing (pilbury dough)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 2 apples diced
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Cut each cinnamon roll into 9 small pieces.
Set aside the icing.
In a medium bowl, combine eggs, milk, cinnamon, and vanilla stirring until smooth. Set aside.
In a pan over medium heat, combine butter, apples and brown suger cookinguntil sugar starts to caramelize, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat.
Sprinkle the cinnamon roll dough pieces evenly in a 9x9 baking pan. Pour the egg mixture on top, followed by the apples. Drizzle the icing on top. (I recommed drizzling the icing after it comes out of the oven).

Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. The bottom may be moist so you may want to put the pan on the bottom of the oven for an extra 10 minuts.
