Berry/Pretzel gelatin salad

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. package berry jello (strawberry or raspberry)
  • 2 1/2 C boiling water
  • 1 - 10 oz. package frozen berries, thawed (sliced, if strawberries)
  • 2 C crushed pretzels
  • 1 1/2 sticks margarine or butter
  • 3 T sugar
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 2 C Cool Whip
  • 1/4 C confectioners sugar

Step 1

Dissolve jello in boiling water and ad berries. Refrigerate.

Melt margarine in 9x13" pan; add pretzels mixed with sugar. Line a baking dish with the mixture and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Set adide to cool.

Beat the cream cheese and Cool Whip and sugar together. Spread over cooled pretzels. When the jello/berry mixture is almost set, pour over the cheese mixture and refrigerate again until set and ready to serve.
