MASH GARLIC AND COOK WITH GROUND BEEF. COOK BACON SLICES AND CHOP. DRAIN BEEF AND ADD WATER, TOMATOES AND BARLEY. ADD SEASONINGS AND BULLION AND BACON. COOK APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES AND ADD VEGGIES AND COOK ANOTHER 30 MINUTES. CHOP TOMATOES INTO SMALL PIECES AS COOKING, SEASON WITH SALT AND PEPPER. THICKEN WITH FLOUR PRIOR TO SERVING.
