Apple coffee cake

This a great way to use up all those apples we have.

This is a really good cake that even children love.

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup butter
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup cream
• 1 1/2 cup flour
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 1/2 cup chopped apples
• Topping
• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 2 Tblsp flour
• 1/2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 1/2 Tbsp melted butter.

Preparation

Step 1

Beat 1st 4 ingrdients.

Stir in flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt in a bowl.

Add to butter mixture.

Add apples
Pour into 8x8 greased pan.

In a separate bowl combine the Topping ingredients and sprinkle over cake mixture.

Bake 400*, 30 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
