Ingredients

  • 4-6

    Pork chops

  • 1

    small onion, finely chopped

  • 1 1/2

    cups flour

  • 4

    tsp. paprika

  • 3

    tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. black pepper

  • 2

    cups milk

  • 1/2

    cup butter

  • Juice from one lemon

  • (Chicken substituted for pork chops)

  • 2 - 3

    chicken breasts

  • 3

    tsp. sage

  • 1

    tsp. paprika

  • 1/4

    cup butter

  • 1/4

    cup olive oil

  • 1

    cup milk

  • 1

    cup chicken stock

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 deg. Dredge mixture: In a zip-lock bag add 1 cup of flour, 4 tsp. paprika, 3 tsp.salt,& 1/2 tsp. black pepper. Place pork chops in bag and dredge all pork chops. Melt butter and add pork chops and brown both sides. Remove pork chops to a baking dish. Add onions to skillet with butter and saute' until tender. Sauce: In another pan Stir in 1/2 cup flour, blend in milk with whisk. Whisk until thickened 2 - 3 minutes. Remove from heat and add lemon juice. Pour sauce over chops and bake uncovered in oven at 350 deg. for 1 hour. NOTE: If you use chicken breasts instead of pork chops. 2 - 3 chicken breasts 3 tsp. sage 1 tsp. paprika 1/4 cup butter 1/4 cup olive oil 1 cup milk 1 cup chicken stock
