Linguine with ham & Cheese sauce

  • 8 oz. linguine
  • 4 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 10oz pkg. peas
  • ham strips
  • 1/2 cup Swiss cheese
  • broccoli, if desired.



Step 1

Cook noodles, keep warm
meanwhile, melt butter, cook onions. Stir in flour, salt & pepper until blended. Cook 1 min. Gradually stir in milk. Cook until thick and smooth. Stir in peas and broccoli. Cook 2-3 minutes until peas are tender.
Add ham. Remove from heat, stir in cheese.
