Venison / Hamburger Pizza Bake
This is a recipe that Kris Winkelman made with venison. I changed it around a little and used hamburger. It's pretty good.
- 8 oz elbow macaroni (cooked)
- 1 pound ground venison or hamburger
- 1 can mushrooms (sliced) or fresh sauteed
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 15 oz pizza sauce
- Salt and pepper
- Shredded Mozzarella cheese or cheddar

In skillet brown venison or hamburger with onions. In 2 quart baking dish add ½ of meat mixture and 1/2 of macaroni, pizza sauce, mushrooms, cheese and repeat layers. Top with cheese. Bake at 350 until heated and cheese is bubbly and brown.
I sauteed fresh mushrooms with salt and pepper.
I also added pepperonis (one layer) on top.
I used cheddar jack for the cheese
