Ingredients

  • 8 oz Shell Macaroni
  • 1 Cup Shredded Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Cup Grated Wisconsin Romano Cheese
  • 1 lbs fresh lobster meat chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs
  • 3 tbs butter
  • pinch nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbs cream sherry

Step 1

boil macaroni in salted water, following package directions. drain. saute lobster meat in butter. Cover bottom of a 2 qt baking dish with a layer of macaroni, a layer of cheddar and romano cheese, green onion, salt, cayenne pepper and nutmeg. continue layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a cheddar and romano layer. whisk milk, cream, egg and sherry together, pour over the top, cover with buttered bread crumbs, and bake in a 350 oven for 25-35 minutes until brown.
